Photos of sketchbooks get me so excited. Actually any type of stationary gets me excited, I seriously spend at least 3hrs a week looking at stationary. It is a very not so secret passion of mine. I would and could easily spend all my money on stationary. The smell of new books is a serious source of joy for me.


I've been working on a submission for a competition here, its for a hand drawn calendar for next year. Also side note, that website spotlighted me as a member, I feel very very honored by that. Other than my friends saying they like my drawings I've never really received any sort of acknowledgement so its really sweet for someone to publicly like my drawings. Its makes me happy!

Earlier this week I applied for a predegree course at a university near me, its kind of a broad array of subjects but it covers everything I would like to study (drawing! print making! graphic design! painting!) I have my fingers and toes crossed that I get in. I would be incredibly poor but very happy, plus if I get in I will have the best excuse for buying stationary! :)
